The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center

On a crisp Fall day I went to the Loeb Art Center on the campus of Vassar College. It was wonderful to see such a prestigious collection with artists from the art historical canon. My favorite pieces on view were from Louise Nevelson, Elaine de Kooning, Goergia O’Keefe and Kara Walker. More information on the art center can be found here.

Stuart Davis: In Full Swing

Stuart Davis: In Full Swing is an exciting and entertaining exhibition currently on view at The Whitney Museum of American Art until September 25, 2016. Davis used color and spatial relationships in everyday objects to reflect on the joy and chaos of everyday life. He is viewed as a master artist whose distinctive style spanned early twentieth century to the postwar era.

The Morgan Library & Museum

The stunning Morgan Library and Museum was the backdrop for the 2016 NYCMER conference. I had the pleasure of presenting a workshop in Mr. Morgan’s Library, and I wanted to share the eye candy that is the setting of the room. Enjoy the pictures and go visit The Morgan Library & Museum.
