The Nasher Sculpture Center opened in October 2003 and was on my wish list of places to visit while in the Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas area. It was the first institution in the world dedicated to modern and contemporary sculpture with a collection of significant work to the genre of sculpture. Filling an entire block in downtown Dallas, in the heart of Dallas’ growing Arts District, The Center features approximately 25 large-scale sculptures from Nasher Collection on view in the Garden at one time.
