Every Wednesday this summer from June 19th through August 28th El Museo del Barrio stays open late with 5ifty5ive and their resident DJ Les Carbonell from 6 to 9pm. In addition to dancing the night away in the courtyard to blends of musical styles like Afro Beat and soul as the sun sets over Fifth Avenue, you can enjoy gallery talks by artists in El Museo’s 7th biennial exhibition La Bienial: HERE IS WHERE WE JUMP. There is also free gallery admission and performances.
Join me on Wednesday, August 28th for the last RADIANCE of the summer!
Manny Vega will give an artist talk on the importance of spirituality in his work.
