“Rocksteady Wednesday is a new event platform we created to bring hip hop back to its fundamental roots and showcases a different aspect of hip hop culture every hour on the hour from 8pm-12:00am. There will be an emcee competition, breakdance competition (where we are coating the stage in cardboard straight old skool), headline performances by Guinness World Record holder for the longest freestyle in the world, Donny Goines and Chicago’s #1 Skate Dj turned Soulful Emcee, Dame-O….Plus giveaways, a surprise DJ set and MUCH more! We are also having a $5 raffle “As-Long-As-Your-Arm” to win donated street art from local artists and youth organizations to raise money for the American Cancer Society.” – words of Lady O
