From January 23rd until January 27th, the Metropolitan Pavilion in Manhattan is a collector and art lovers paradise because of Metro Show 2013. Full of work ranging from Tribal to Fine Art, the show is full of classic and antique pieces as well as new and contemporary gems. During my time at the VIP Opening Preview I got a chance to see work by Frank Stella, Stuart Davis, Isamu Noguchi, Chuck Close, Keith Haring, Shepard Fairey, Wangechi Mutu, Henri Matisse, and Hunter Doyle.
My favorite moments included: viewing the breathtaking antique furniture from Gary Sullivan Antiques Inc., the Stuart Davis section at Bernard Goldberg Fine Arts, LLC, and the amazing African photographers at Revue Noire. In fact, at Revue Niore I began my collection of rare prints from African photographers!
It is a must-see this Winter 2013 art season! Visit them at: metroshownyc.com
