I attended the world’s first PB&J Art Gallery that also benefitted the Food Bank for New York City. For every family that visited The Nutropolitan Museum of Art, one jar of peanut butter was donated to the Food Bank for New York City. In addition, they noted that 100% of all proceeds from prints and merchandise sold at the gallery will be donated to the Food Bank for New York City.
Within the gallery they had great posters such as this one from the National Peanut Board stating how delicious, nutritiuous, and important part of American cuisine peanuts are.
They also had tasty treats created by the delicious Peanut Butter and Company Sandwich shop!
The exhibit certainly displayed how food is both a part of art as well as culture!
Great fun for any age, the exhibit ends Sunday, March 6 from
10am – 4 pm at 201 Mulberry Street!
